Dr. Joseph Chimienti is a Licensed Educational Psychologist at a high school in the Boston Metro-West area. He conducts psycho-educational evaluations, Provides Individualized Education Plan (IEP) Teams with the information they need for initial or continued eligibility determinations for special education and 504 re-qualification Dr. Chimienti has a group of students in therapy on a one-to-one basis for individual counseling or emotional support. Dr. Chimienti provides ad-hoc crisis intervention services and consults with teachers on various issues that prevent students from accessing the academic curriculum. In addition to this work, Dr. Chimienti has district-wide responsibilities for testing all students in grades K-12 who are being educated outside the district when the educational agencies in which they are outplaced are not staffed to conduct psycho-educational evaluations.
